I just contacted on of my good customers with whom I needed to firm up some rod build details.
He had never used Skype, so I took him through the setup.

After we were set up with a video interface, we quickly ironed out all of the thread colors, combinations and handle details that were a bit unclear using E-mail.

He is a few states away, so that is the contact.

If you haven't used a video interface before for some of your out of area clients, give it a try and you will be amazed at how quickly you can settle details that took many e-mails to clear up.

Just go to Skype.com and down load the appropriate app for your phone, or computer.

Along the way, he happened to mention Facebook video. I had not used that before, but took a few minutes to set up my facebook for video conferencing and had a nice chat with one of my nieces on the other side of the country.

Razor sharp video and great audio.

So, both of these tools work as well as the Apple Talk on an Apple product.

Roger, How long have you been in business? I am just starting out and would like to learn some best practices.
