Epoxy mixer re-usable cups?

Hello,
Does such a thing exist and if so where can I find it? Have been going through a lot of the plastic 2.5 oz size lately, and while their cost is nominal I wouldn't mind being able to use them for a second time around. Can I just pop out the hardened finish and clean the cup with some Dawn dishwashing liquid, or is this a bad thing? Appreciate your thoughts and experience on this. chad Re: Epoxy mixer re-usable cups?

Why not let it dry hard and then use it again?I get at least 10 uses that way from each cup. Re: Epoxy mixer re-usable cups?

Hi Chad,
I do the same as Peter, only I store my cup in an air tight container, between uses, to stop any air borne contaminants such as dust, fluff etc getting in it. Regards, Rod. Mboro. Qld. Australia. Re: Epoxy mixer re-usable cups?

Sam's club had stainless mixing cups in the in the 2.5-3 oz range that fit in my mixer. I haven't looked for them in awhile and couldn't find them on line but I think they were around $5 for 12 of them. They work great just wipe it out when done and move on. Re: Epoxy mixer re-usable cups?

Hello,
Rod and Peter- Good to know one can mix fresh epoxy on top of a previously cured batch, will give that a shot next time. Scott- Thats great, think I found what you're talking about online. They are called "stainless steel sauce cups", 2.5 oz, and look to be sold by cooking/restaurant supply outfits. I'll get in touch with them and see if they have a cup to fit my mixer. Thanks again for your replies. chad Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/30/2014 04:56PM by Chad Barlongo. Re: Epoxy mixer re-usable cups?
