Epoxy mixer re-usable cups?

Hello,

Does such a thing exist and if so where can I find it? Have been going through a lot of the plastic 2.5 oz size lately, and while their cost is nominal I wouldn't mind being able to use them for a second time around. Can I just pop out the hardened finish and clean the cup with some Dawn dishwashing liquid, or is this a bad thing? Appreciate your thoughts and experience on this.

Why not let it dry hard and then use it again?I get at least 10 uses that way from each cup.

Hi Chad,
I do the same as Peter, only I store my cup in an air tight container, between uses, to stop any air borne contaminants such as dust, fluff etc getting in it.
Regards, Rod.

Sam's club had stainless mixing cups in the in the 2.5-3 oz range that fit in my mixer. I haven't looked for them in awhile and couldn't find them on line but I think they were around $5 for 12 of them. They work great just wipe it out when done and move on.

Hello,

Rod and Peter-
Good to know one can mix fresh epoxy on top of a previously cured batch, will give that a shot next time.

Scott-
Thats great, think I found what you're talking about online. They are called "stainless steel sauce cups", 2.5 oz, and look to be sold by cooking/restaurant supply outfits. I'll get in touch with them and see if they have a cup to fit my mixer.

Thanks again for your replies.

chad
