PacBay RW-XL replacement rod support

Hey everyone,
Do taking a reel seat off last night and things got a little rough...one thing lad to the next and before I knew it my middle rod support had busted off where it adapts to the rod smith rails. The problem is I can't find any replacement rod supports for this wrapper online. Was hoping someone may know where to look?

Thanks for the help,
Jon

Jon,
This appears to be a Pac Bay product.

I would think that you could contact any pac bay distributor and ask them to order the part - which is the rod support and found on page 3 of your manual.

For example - check with Anglers Workshop:

If you look at their page, there is a picture of their single rod dryer, that uses one of the rod supports.

So, it would quite likely that they would have a rod support in stock. Either available singly, or as part of the dryer package.

I believe that the XL was the model that has three tubes instead of the flat rail used on most wrappers.
I also believe it was discontinued...I would contact Utmost Enterprises, they seem to have a close tie with Pac-Bay.
Otherwise someone who sponsors here might have some spare parts in stock.
Good Luck.

Gary,
I stand corrected.

However, since the part is still listed in the parts manual, it is possible that a pac bay distributor may be able to obtain it.

I have the same problem. Just bought a RW 3L and UPS dropped it from airmail must have been 10,000 ft a lot of broken small parts. I call Pac. Bay and they sent to a dist. to get the parts. The Dist is Donartrods.com . I bought the rod wrapper from Cabelas and they told me to bad call ups. Called UPS they said I should have refused package no one home they just left it on front porch. So I am out looking for parts also to fix at my cost. I will let you know how it goes with the help I get.

Jon
What part do you need I have to buy a new support complete I will have parts let over from mine. Cabelas nor UPS will help so I have $80.00 more in my wrappen and paid to much for it.
