Thank you all for your input it has been fun reading the responses, I think the one response that tugged on me the most was from Rod Churchward. Had to put my Lab down last week after 14 years. She would come down and watch me but begged for peanuts from my bench. She would lay in my recliner with the space heater facing her and fall asleep. Darn dogs are are like kids. Hope to see some of you at the Iowa gathering first time I maybe able to make it.

Thank you all for the responses, it has been fun to read them all. I wish I could meet everyone of you. Mr. Rod Churchward you touched me in a way you did not intend. I had to put down my lab at the age of 14 that would sit in my recliner and watch me wrap but always begged for peanuts from my bench. Hope to meet some of you at the Iowa gathering.

I think it would be interesting to know if the music genre relates to the styling of rods built.
That is, those who use the latest trim and colors listen to newer music vs those who use more traditional materials and colors listen to music from the past. I happen to prefer classic rock and style my rods with colors and designs from years ago. I don't like the newer 'blingy' components. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/23/2014 12:35PM by Jim Siadak.
