Hello Michael.
I never used them but sense you want a response, merry Christmas!!! Yuk, yuk, yuk,ha,ha,ha. May I ask how long these guides have been out? I(if I had used them) would not made an endorsement unless I used them at leased 2 years or if I used some testing techniques to speed up the assumed time(months at leased). Good Luck. I've used them on a couple of rods for over a year with no issues. I put them on the last rod I built for myself. Tired of breaking other guides taking them in and out of tube in the rod locker. Re: REC black pearl snake guides

Have them on numerous saltwater fly rods. Look great, cast great and don't break. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
