Fly Guide Weights?

Does anyone have any info to compare the weights of different fly guides & tips? I find some weight charts for some but not enough to actually compare.
The guides I'm thinking of are the Fuji solid titanium (TLSG), Recoil single foots, and H&H single foots specifically.
Thanks for any info.
Todd

Todd,
To get a very good idea with a dull scale so to speak, just call a vendor and ask them to weigh up 20 or so guides of each type that you are interested in knowing. Then, take that measured weight and divide by 20.

By doing this, you don't have to use a super accurate micro scale. A common postage scale will work just fine.

Or you could go to a Fuji marketing site and look up the weights. If they don't have it listed, just drop the supplier an e-mail and ask them for the information.

Be safe

I'll give it a try.
I thought I'd seen posts from folks who had digital scales and had weighed lots of guides. I guess I thought fly guides would be the most researched since they're the most important as far as weight goes.

I weighted some (Pacific Bay single foot, Snake Brand, REC single ....) as Manufacturer Listed Weight sometime are true sometime not.

But for me weight comparaison should include thread/finish as a lighter guide with long foot may weight more than a little heavier guide with a shorter foot :-)

Weighed recently: Fuji TLSG (titanium + SiC)
- 7 - 0,16g
- 6 - 0,12g

To be honest, I weighed just one of each and sorry it's in grams.
Cheers,
Michal
