I just coated a rod for the first time with lumiseal. it feels like its a bit soft. does it stay this way? how do I harden it? when I let It dry in the cup it peeled right out of it. is this right? its not real warm in the basement but it did dry to the touch. I put on 2 coats and it looks good enough to stop there. thanks
Greg

It cures by reaction with moisture. If the humidity is low it'll take a while longer to fully cure. It'll get hard, just give it some time.

I'd definitely let the finish harden before I attempted to start wrapping guides.

As Tom said humidity is needed for the cure. Boil some pasta for dinner and bring the rod to the table ....lol.
