Stripper guide for micros

I'm building a 7'2 M 10_17# it's a 10 " handle. I'm using number #4 running guides. My question is is there any benefit to using a#6 stripper guide or can I use all number 4s? Static testing the first guide (which right now is a#6 is at 21" from the face of the casting reel.
Thanks in advance

I use the butt guide to keep the line off the hand when pulling in a good fish

Just make sure the line between the reel and the butt guide does what it needs to do. No doubt the ring'll pass your line, but what happens when the rod is heavily under load? Is that guide high enough to keep the line off the blank, your foregrip, etc.? (Butt guide position affects this as well.)

There's benefit in using a guide with the correct height because it gives a straighter line path due to the raised height. When comparing a 6DF and a Kigan ZDH5, the top of the guide is about the same. Consider using a guide specifically designed for the application.

Using the ZDH5 and then the ZD5 (omitting the ZDH5.5) is proving to be a very successful guide train.

Fuji has recommended a size 10 double foot KW for the KR Concept, however, things are changing. The 10 was needed for height , not ring size so Fuji is introducing a very unique "RV" K-Series guide as a baitcast stripper. The guide has a size 6 ring but sits higher off the blank and it features a unique reverse design similar to the reverse position used in the LC stripper for many years. We will have these in stock in about 60 days.
