There are probably a dozen other brown fly rods on the market.

Some of their own label, and some are rebranded from another label.

Be safe

A pretty popular color in the 80s and 90s, shade from rootbeer to chestnut.

It will be graphite. I tried to find Tiger Eye but their web site does not work.

I think Tiger Eye is history. Sad, they were one of my favorite blanks. I think Angler's Roost has some brown blanks.

It is sad the tiger eye is history, I think it is now Cripple Creek Rods, but I don't see that they sell the blanks. If you get an Angler's Roost blank check what markings come on it. Other option is to paint a blank.

Daniel
Give Karen at Bingham Enterprises a call. There is a new blank out similar to the color of the Tiger eye blanks that she has some info on.

Hope this helps

CTS has several blank colors to choose from including a brown that I think is the nicest color brown I've ever seen on a blank. It has subtle copper and gold glittering added. My 9' 4wt 4 pc CTS Affinity X is smoother than any Sage of equivalent size and power that I've ever cast.
