I am in Hamilton If you find a place for rod building classes let me know. Maybe we need to find out how many rod builders are in the Golden Horseshoe and get together every few months??

I know of 3 others that are in the area. Myself. Wayne, Josh and Nick all live near Toronto.

I'm a little north of Peterborough.
It sounds like we might have enough for a group.

I am an 3.5 hours from TO. So Just next door :)

How many are going to the show in February?

I have been to the MRB Roundup in Lapeer, MI. It was very informative and only 4 hours by car away :)

I will be there sat, I am in Etobicoke, I have learned a lot of my skill from Jc, Chris, Rick, Goby. If u need some basics I can try my best to help out. Also a lot of great guys on here that will help you out. I owe most to Jc he helps me a lot. Always learning something new.

G'Day Fellas a couple of years ago 3 of us who met on this forum decided to get together & from that inital meeting we now have around 20 members .We call ourselves the SEARBS (South East Australian Rod Builders) & although we are Sydney based we have members who travel over 1000 kms for the meeting .The get togethers are mostly informal with a lot of discussion between members with similar interests or problems . These meetings are without a doubt the best thing that I have ever been involved in & would recomend that you make the effort for a face to face meeting. You won't regret it & as a bonus you will meet some incredible builders.

Exactly what Barry has said.From small things big things grow.The network of friends i have made from this site is great.I have been exposed to some great
builders and what i have learnt you cant pay for.Go for it guys you wont regret it.
