I have done a couple tiger wraps blue, red, green turned out pretty good.I would like a black & white on a white rod. I practiced the base wrap on a white piece using black nylon and white Pac Bay tru fast. The base ended up gray. Any suggestions on how to end up with sharp white and black tiger wrap. Thank you

If I wanted a white tiger, I would use black and silver with a white over-wrap.

i did different approach on black and white/silver tiger
1st I inlay alumunium foil on blank with wood glue(maybe you can use CP for this purpose)
2nd i wrap black and another thread, burnished then the another thread i remove as sacrifice thread
3rd applied epoxy
4th i wrap my overwrap thread using black and another color, burnished then i remove that anpther color thread as sacrifice thread
5th applied final top coat

this can give you more depth on the tiger

I have no pictures of my work. Quality of work way to poor to show on this board. Just build for my amusement and sense of accomplishment to fish with my builds.
