Hello Ron.

For the Butt Cap MudHole has a 3" X 1" RVB10 for $1.44, Black Rubber/Vinyl.

As for the Winding Check I know of no .920 metal checks, the biggest Rubber/Vinyl is .950 next one down is .900, but I Think the .900 will stretch to .920.

I myself would make my own out of Epoxy with a bit of black Testors in Each Batch of Epoxy (one that big will take a few runs with the epoxy), or you can build it from Rod Bond then the testors in the regular epoxy.

Lots of way's.

Hello Ron.

It's simple but takes some patients.

Just mix up your favorite epoxy and let it get kind of thick then put it where you want the winding check while turning the rod on a low RPM rod dryer till just barely tacky then repeat.

It usually takes a few additions till it is as thick as you want.
