Yellow reel seat

I'm working on a John Deere theme rod for a Christmas gift for a young man. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy a yellow or pale gold, trigger reel seat.

Mr. Kirkman doesn't want any direct reference to any on line @#$%& site.

But, if you use your computer for " gold reel seat" search on various on line sites, you will find some older reel seats, that use front and back gold rings to hold the reel.
Perhaps that would work for you.

Most distributors no longer have these gold reel seats in their product line up.

Be safe

You might also try one of the Mud hole reel seats:

These come in a Matte emerald green with an appropriate sized center bore.

This is not a John deere shade of green, but not too bad.

Be safe

These Gold guides might make a nice addition to your John Deere Rod.

I used a green/yellow Matagi reelseat they had them at Merrick which is now Mudhole though I heard not all the Merrick stuff would not be available. You'll have to ask. The pattern on the reelseat was similar to leopard skin if I remember right.

Thanks for all the replies. Roger, I'm gonna use a green blank and I think I wanted to use a yellow seat for contrast, however, I just found some yellow EVA that might provide enough contrast and I'm considering that green seat. Ron, I'll give you a call on Monday.

I have a left list for the JD logo if you want it. I did one of these for a neighbors nephew a few years ago. Shoot me an email if you want it. Easy weave.
