When the product first went on the market, I had some questions about UV and durability. Since that time, C.Kruel in Germany did a UV test/durability test. They marbled some plastic eggs, and so far they have been sitting in the sun for 9 weeks. The color has remained the same, but has lost some gloss. This isn't a big concern for grips and other applications receiving a clear coat. If anyone has any questions about how to Mad-Swirl grips, reel seats, etc, give me a shout at ReedRods@gmail.com.

Hi Jeremy,
I have used your product on three white blanks. For a first time effort I was very pleased with the results and so were the customers. As I get time I will be experimenting further. A very good product. Capt Neil Faulkner Re: Mad-Swirl - Magic Marble Paint UV Testing Results

Capt. Faulkner -
Thank you for the feedback. From the responses I've been getting, people are really liking the look of the Mad-Swirl. Most people are using them on grips, but don't forget, you can use it on reel seats, reels, etc. It's a very versatile product. If you get a chance, post some pictures if you have time. Thanks, jeremy reed Re: Mad-Swirl - Magic Marble Paint UV Testing Results

What do you use for clear coating? Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
