Hey fellas, has anyone built up a CTS EST regards or length or power?
It's designated by CTS as salmon/steelhead blank. Any input is appreciated. THX! Re: CTS EST blanks?

Built a golden plum 10 ft. heavy, nice salmon blank that performed well within it's specs. Re: CTS EST blanks?

Thanks Spencer!
How's the taper on that blank? Does it shut off or is the blank more parabolic and bend to the butt? Re: CTS EST blanks?

Never fished the rod Will, it was built for a friend from a blank he had purchased in Canada where he lives. I just got to test cast it and than messed with it about 5 minutes in a school yard before boxing it up. I saw no indication of an abrupt shutoff. Re: CTS EST blanks?

I pretty much got the job because of my golden plum 3 piece, 7 ft. CTS travel spinning rod, that he liked so well. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
