There's lots of options. I've used all of the following with good results: testors paint, pigments available in hardware stores usually near the fiberglass supplies, finely ground chalk, juice from paint pens, and of course the dry powder and wet pigments available from rob building supplies around.
I'm sure there's other souces like spray paint cans but never tried it. What I like about the different color sources is the variety in opacity. Some are translucent and other are not. You cen get nice blends if you want them and none when you don't. Play around with a scrap blank and have fun. Re: Colored Flex coat

Pigments are the best, such as the marbling pigments already mentioned. I would stay away from using acrylic paint though. This turns the finish sticky very quickly and doesn't level well. Not sure what is happening chemically to create this effect but I learned this when coloring finish to make winding checks from 2-part finish.
