Purchasing older blanks

Is it possible to buy older, no longer produced blanks?
A friend of mine asked me to find him a G-Loomis HSR 9000S Med Light 6-12 lb, X-Fast tip rod.
Where could I look for this rod?
Thank you.

Put a want ad up on the buy/sell page here and perhaps one of the builders will have one they'd sell.

If you cannot find an old G.Loomis take a look at the North Fork (Gary Loomis new company) SSP767-1 HM is the same as old HS9000IMX or the SSP767IM same as old Loomis IM6.

If I can be of assistance don't hesitate to give me a call or send an e-mail.
