G-Loomis fly blanks

I have 2 G-Loomis blanks, they are F108-8 GL3 and GL2. Can anybody tell me what the difference is between the GL2 and the GL3? And about what the blanks sold for when G-Loomis was in business? I could sell both blanks built into fly rods, but I dont know what the blanks are worth.
Thanks Pete

If you were to contact G Loomis, they could probably tell you the last MSRP for the blank models that you have. GL2 was standard modulus (33 million) and GL3 was second generation (IM6 or about 38 million) originally.

The materials used to make those models was continually upgraded over the years. Around the time of them being discontinued, the GL2 was akin to an IM6 material and the GL3 was akin to the original IMX material.

The closest I have info for was 2 years prior to no blanks. $92 for GL2, $129 for GL3, $167 for IMX.
