If anyone has a pac bay power wrapper, could they drop me a line so that I could obtain some measurements on the base of the wrapper.
Basically, I am looking for the width of the opening at the top of the base on which the rod rests rest. My understanding is that the inside width of the channel itself is 3 13/16th of an inch. It appears, that the width of the opening of the base is about 2 3/16th inches. However, I would like an exact measurement of the width and not a guess. Thanks very much for your help. Roger,
Just to confirm, I measure my assembled 2 section 8' bed in different places and get anywhere from 2.046 to 2.058. Someone gave me a Pac Bay power wrapper this week that is made in 3 sections and I measured one of those sections, unassembled, it came out to 2.062 on one end, and 2.056 on the other. I too was using calipers. Re: pac bay base measurements

Donald,
I am building a DC powered reversible power head. This is a DC gear motor with a power supply and foot pedal that also has a reversing switch to be able to back up the motor at will. The speed of the motor will be a maximum of 500 rpm for this particular client. The motor and head stock will use 1:1 pulleys so that the head stock speed will vary from 0-500 rpm in either direction. Be safe Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 09/17/2013 08:48AM by roger wilson.
