Micro guide holder

I just posted on the photo page a couple pictures of micro guide holders for small diameter blanks. I use fuel line for R/C cars and heli's and slice them about a 1/16" long or so. Slide them on and attach guide under. After I start the wrap I simply cut it off. The cost is about $1.50 a foot and I get hundreds of them. I don't know how to share the link or I would. I am computer challenged, lol. It's in the equipment section of the photo page.

I've been dealing with this all weekend. I'm using the tubing that Mudhole sells and it works very well. However, when I get to the last couple of guides near the tip, the diameter of the tubing is too large to hold the guide on the blank. The tubing you are using looks like just what I need. Thanks

Any R/C store. I am lucky to have one a half mile from me. I does work great and is cheap. They have all sizes.

Towards the tip or on real small diameter blanks wrap the tubing twice and put the'x' on the bottom. Use one part for the foot, the other as a stop to keep it from pushing forward.

Hi Chip

Thanks for posting the pic. However I am trying to understand the picture and it doesn't look like the tubing is even wrapped around the blank? I find the micro guides really hard to hold to the blanks!

It's one slice of tubing doubled-up with the twist on the bottom.. Keeps the guide real snug.
