My writing is terrible with pen and acrylic ink
I checked this site and a lot of sponsors to your left for lettering decals? There has to be letter decals somewhere for poor penmanship like mine :) Thx!! Re: Rod signture and writing

yes, order a label from Decal Connection on the left. I live on the West Coast and I order on Monday, the label is usually here by Friday. 1000's of fonts to choose from and they come in any color you want.
I can be pressed into hand writing but the labels look much more professional for me. Terry Re: Rod signture and writing

Even poor penmanship has an authenticity that is of value. I am using decals for the rod specs, but still sign them in my primitve way. Re: Rod signture and writing

Good for you Michael. I simply do not feel good about decal signatures. 30 hours of hands, heart and brain working to build a one-of-kind 'Custom Made Rod' to the highest level a builder has evolved to and then slap a replica 'John Henry' on it. Just doesn't jive for me! Re: Rod signture and writing

I converted my handwriting into a font its not to hard to do just google how to make fonts that way you can send the new font to your favorite decal maker and get back an honest representation of your signature. I find it almost impossible to sign a blank as I'm left handed and it always smudges by creating the font from your handwriting on a flat surface it would be a much closer rep of your actual signature.
If you only need a couple of words like first and last name you can sign a piece of bright green card with a black sharpie then knock out the back ground and produce a graphic with a transparent background really easy to do trick is to evenly light the card when you take the shot. Works similar to blue or greenscreen in the video industry.
