Team American Tackle is just back from ICAST 2013! (except for our personnel heading back to our offices in China and Europe)

Couldn’t have had a better show season. The MicroWave Line Control System has now traveled the globe to incredible success WINNING BACK TO BACK awards!

The first being the “Innovation of the Year” at EFTTEX in Europe, beating the world’s best rods, reels, lures etc. to take this highest honor possible.

And now, it has just received the distinct honor of winning the Best of Show award for Best Fishing Accessory at ICAST 2013, fishing’s largest trade show in the USA!

It’s truly an exciting time for American Tackle to say the least. The American Tackle Team and early adopters of the Microwave Guides have long since believed that the system was and is truly revolutionary and now the fishing tackle industry has come to recognize this as well. To our knowledge American Tackle Company is the only component company to win any worldwide industry award for guides. To say that the MicroWave is the future of fishing rods sounds cliché, but it will change the face of the industry for years to come.

I am giving a special thank you to all who have given them a chance and to those who have taken the MicroWave Challenge. Look for more to come in the future…

Yes, we at American Tackle feel it is entirely appropriate that rod components be included as stand-alone products within the angling world. It’s time that parts are recognized for what they can provide both fishing rods and anglers. The MicroWave Line Control System speaks for itself and fits that bill perfectly so we are pleased with the industry-wide acknowledgement.

Forrest, might have to wait on the free guides for awhile.…. hard to stay in business that way.

I will post a separate thread above about the newly introduced “Tidal Wave” guides. Unfortunately no colored inserts…
