What is the opinion of Grizzly mini lathes? Good as jet an Delta? Stay away? They seem to have good customer service policy from what I can tell from google searches.

Mark ... I'm a big grizzly fan just because of their customer service and I have an 18x47 Grizzly (G0733) ear marked to take up space in my garage. Most of these mini-lathes come from The Burt Group with a little paint scheme change. Look here and you will find just about any
of these in sold in different color schemes but are basically the same lathe.

I never heard anything bad about them. A lot of gun smiths I know use them.

My table saw, band saw, jointer, dust system, belt/disc sander, milling machine and a host of other toolsl are from Grizzly...only my lathe and drill press are from another company ...and were at no cost to me....so, just an opinion.
