Would you say that Flexcoat liter build will dry faster than the high build because it is thinner and can release more air quicker?

I've never timed it, but I think the cure or set-up time is similar.

Epoxies don't "dry" they cure by chemical reaction so thickness doesn't come into play.

However, these two product versions may be formulated for a different set and cure times, so your best bet might be to ask someone at Flex Coat.

And for the same reasons Tom stated, releasing of air has nothing to do with curing time either.

I'm a threadmaster user and their light build takes a lot longer to set up than the hi build, don't know about flexcoat..
With your cp and epoxy application don't be in a hurry or you''ll end up being disappointed. I also leave cp for 24 hrs before applying epoxy.

Great question, Chad.

Flex Coat Lite and High Build cure at the same rate. We recommend rotating for 2 hours and give it 24 hours before fishing.
