loose reel seat

I have two fairly new rods [do not have recipe]the rod seat on both have begain to twist is there any way to fix without striping guides? the cork is tight it is just the seats Re: loose reel seat

Hello Kenny.
You could squeeze a needle between the seat and cork and inject some epoxy into the seat, or drill (carefully) a hole in the seat (somewhere where it won't be seen with the reel on) and fill with epoxy. Tight Wraps. Bob, New Bern, NC. Re: loose reel seat

You will also probably need a hole to allow the air escape when the epoxy goes in. Re: loose reel seat

you need to know what is broke loose. The reel seat from arbors or arbors from blank. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
