Colonon Rod

Have and old Colonon spinning rod 9 ' and am rebuilding it for a friend.
Does any one know what the model number and rating of this rod would be for the spinning rod
and the conventional rod ?

They made many models in both spinning and casting, many had the same length. You'd have to get a few more details before a particular model could be nailed down.

I have several of the 9' conolons and build a lot of them for live bait bank fishing. We prefer the medium action fast taper models.

Thanks Mr. Casey,
Do you by any chance have the Model Number for the 9 ft. Spinning model, It is so old the writing on the blank
is obliterated. The action , the best I can tell is Med or Med Fast.

Thanks for your input it is really helpful.
The but section is an aluminum tube 1" OD.
I cannot get the 11/16 hypalon to stretch that far.
What do you do for rear grips on the 1" diameter.

Sorry for delay.. Here are the numbers I have for the conolons I own. Or at least the ones I can read.

9' medium action fast taper 2455 / blue reel seat with spigot / ferrule black butt cap with G
9' medium action fast taper 2571T / brown reel seat with gold aluminum feather light ferrule white butt cap with G
9' medium action fast taper kingfisher conolon 2330 or 2380 (cant tell which) / black reel seat chrome ferrule black butt cap with G
