Any one have experience using the heat shrink, or durability of this material?

That's heat shrink, I use it alot on offshore rods. Comes in different diameters, recently built an inshore split-grip with heat shrink over of EVA. It's pretty durable, and if it does become not-so-welcoming to the eyes, you can just slice it off put some more on it. Re: black diamond rear grip?

I use it on almost Every surf rod I build abd about half the Boat rods. maintains a good grip with wet hands,Comfortable grip over Cork Tape. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
