glass fly rod blanks for crappie/perch 7. 5 ft or longer

I know this topic has been discussed but I searched for it but got nothing back. Operator error Im sure. Looking for an inexpensive fly rod blank, prefer glass that can be converted into a dead stick for perch fishing or hand held for crappie fishing. The anglers (meat hunters) that want these kinds of rods don't want to spend high end custom prices but I would like to have this as an option in my shop. And oh yeah, I love a meal of perch from Lake Winnebago. 7.5 to 9 feet in length would be great.

Any suggestions on blanks would be greatly appreciated.

Here is an 8' 5/6 fiberglass from one of the Sponsors

I have built one for a friend and am starting one for myself, as well as a spinning rod from the same blank.

Although they aren't glass, the Sevier tiger's eye blanks are inexpensive and durable. They make a nice moderate action rod that would be perfect for crappie fishing. These are available direct from them or from several of the suppliers on the left.

We have not been able to get Tiger Eye blanks from Sevier since late last fall.
They have not responded to phone or email messages.

Best wishes,

Look at Lamiglas, they have some 7'-6" Fiberglass Fly Rod blanks that may fit what you are looking for and they do not cost that much. Also, if you have a Cortland Dealer near you, they can purchase the "new" Diamondglass blanks. They have a couple of models that are from 6' to 8'-6". They are around $150 and that includes a rod sock and tube.
