X Flock Question

I haven't used X Flock yet, but it seems simple enough. I'm considering using it on a split grip that has an EVA butt. My question is how well does it close up around the bottom of the butt? I've found lots of pictures where people have used it on the lower part of a grip, but none that show the actual end of the grip. I wouldn't think it could up too tight on the rounded bottom of the butt and be smooth. Any input and especially pictures would be appreciated!

if you mean does it close up on itself?then the answer is no.x-flock only shrinks to about 50% of its size.i usually close up the ends with epoxy or a tie off wrap and epoxy, very important to close it up because it is still weather variant, when it gets cold it will un-shrink a little and move a bit.
