Saw that Video a while back, The question then was about coating the Bottom of a Boat. Would it affect the handling of the Boat? It is not cheap!

On metal i can see it will prevent rust

On a graphite or glass rod ????? Would probably just add weight

Roger

Potentially the best use would be on guides to prevent icing.

If I coat myself I may never need to bathe again :-)
Sunglasses could be coated to repel salt spray?

If wet rod grips are a problem, problem solved. I expect it is pretty expensive.

About $100/quart for translucent white, didn't see clear. Looks like it may be applied by spraying from simple spray bottles.

I was all in until I read that it dries to translucent white and only lasts 2 months in outdoor use.

$57 for a can of it and only 2 months use isn't good.
