Has anyone tried one of these blanks? Particularly the PRO 873 as listed on their site. They say they are new for 2013. The avg wt shows 1.9 oz and I find this very low for a 7'3" blank. Diameters from tip to butt look to be smaller than normal and I was wondering how it might fit the task. Weight is a real issue on this build and I want to start as low as I can. Customer wants to flip tubes for largemouth in moderate cover with 8-17 lb. line and a max wt of 3/4 oz. Fast action of course. So far, as listings go, this is the lightest 7'3" blank I've found with the MHX being a close 2nd at 2.1 oz. Re: Lamiglas XP Bass

I don't know about the 873 specifically, I can tell you the two PRO 842's and one PRO 844 I have are right on with printed weights, diameters, etc.. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
