I built a set for myself on my standups. I pretreated them with scotchgurd and they have held up fine. Kevin Knox ANGLER'S ENVY CUSTOM RODS QUEEN ANNE, MD 21657 #_#_#_#_# www.anglersenvy.com Re: white Grips?

Michael,
White grips and all of the things that go with fishing. My guess is that they would stay white for about 1 hour while fishing. I am sure that they would hold up fine. But I am also sure that they would look very dingy and gray in a very short time, due to the things that get on anglers hands while fishing and are then transferred to the grip. This question sore of reminds me of the lady who wanted a white rug at the entrance door to her house and then was all upset when folks would come in, and get the rug dirty by standing on her clean white carpet.

White grips stay clean, but they have to be sanded a particular way so that everythng wipes off of them. A toothbrush soap and water will keep white grips looking like new. I made teh grips for Kevin out of high quality white EVA blocks, I'm not able to make any until I get my shop back up and running. Re: white Grips?

Billy,
Do you have any sort of time frame to be fully recovered from the terrible effects of the storm? Roger Re: white Grips?

Michael, anything is worth trying, and it sounds like you've been given some good ideas on how to handle it. Here is another idea for ramps that can easily be done in white to go with your grips. If you want to know how to do these, let me know.

use holly wood and seal them with a good finish and they will stay white, use fiberglass sleeve and dye them white (with a pearl too) and they will stay white, eva I do not know but can't emagine so. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
