What's the smallest sized casting guide they make in a doubled foot guide. I currently been using size 6. I was just curious if they go any smaller.

Thanks
BJ Barron

normaly the smaller guides are for light to very light rodes so for th most part you will only get single foot in the smaller size I could be wrong but i don't think so

Hi William,
Size 6 is usually the smallest. Don't know of any manufacturer that goes any smaller than that.

I was mainly just curious. The double foot guides are all the guys I build for or repair for want. I have only built a couple flipping stix. Size 5 I might just have to check those out.

Sort of like educating people on spiral rods...you may want to let these customers borrow a rod wrapped with single foot guides.

Micros, to me, just seem like an extreme effort to save weight...and running all that extra thread and epoxy just goes in the opposite direction of what you're trying to achieve.

Build a rod and let them oh&ah over it then say, "take it and use it for a couple of weeks."

I did let them borrow the two rods I built with the double foot #6 that's why they wanted them on there's when when I rewrapped there rods. This guys are rough on rods after a while the single foots beak off or the ring finally comes out.

They have got micros on some of there rods but they weren't a big fan of them. Weight is not a issue with them as long as its ballanced.
