I have a friend who wants me to repair a Bass Pro Rod for them. I need two guides for a Tourney Special casting rod. I think they are American Tackle Halide guides. If you know what guides were used on these rods, please let me know.

Hi Charles,

These rods may or may not utilize those guides. Our black frame Halide guides would certinaly match though. Another match would be Pacific Bay's black frame Hialoy guides as well.

Best Regards,

For the price point, I doubt they carry as good a quality guide as the AmTack. It's been a few years now, but a friend bought some for occasional inshore fishing in Florida. The guides turned green and started flaking after a few trips, this is with washdowns at the end of the day.
