I also use spring steel tension rods to allow me to reverse if needed. Here is an old picture of mine before I put newer roller stands on it

Yes, that's the one. I have a couple of other pictures that might help if anyone is interested in making something like that. For lathes like the Custom Power Wrapper and others on that same sort of extrusion it may require making a whole new thread carriage if you want to use the 4oz spools. I use 6 to 8 oz weights depending on what I'm doing. The nice thing here is that the tension stays the same going in either direction. Well almost because the tension is set just tight enough to prevent the spool from turning under the weight alone. Re: Rod Wrapper

Roger love my wrapper motor and DC power pack you built for me it is great the paddle is smooth next time might go with the wha-wha peddle

I wonder how many Roger has built for other people. He built my DC setup also. Just the transformer, pedal, wire harness. I had the motor and chuck assembly. I love mine. David Dosser Coshocton, OH Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
