I have found a flyrod blank I didn't remember but want to identify who made it. I think I bought it from Hook and Hackle, but am not sure and wonder what company
made it. It is a green graphite, 9 foot, 2 piece blank. The tag on it is " IGF904". Can anyone please help me identify its source? Thanks. Sam Slack Re: Identifying flyrod blank by numbers

Hook and Hackle used to sell blanks from Pac Bay and Batson Enterprises. The IGF904 is most likely Hook and Hackle's Number. PacBay uses RF904 for the Rain Forest Series and Batson uses IF904 for their Rainshadow series. I hope this helps.

A quick google search seems to indicate the IGF904 is a 9' 4wt PacBay fly rod. Not a current model. 43M Modulus carbon fibre. Chris Richer Iroquois ON Re: Identifying flyrod blank by numbers

Thanks Chris ... that makes sense and confirms what I thought might be the case. Thanks again, Sam Slack Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
