Don't you have to be a tackle dealer or manufacturer to get into icast? The big show for rod builders is in North Carolina in February. That one is open to the public.

I didn't know it was open to the public. Can you buy stuff right out of the dealers booths there?

It's not open to the public. You have to be in the tackle business as a manufacturer, wholesaler, buyer or tackle and sporting goods dealer to get in. You have to premregister as one of the above. It's not a show that just anyone can walk off the street and attend.

we had to order the only ones that had salable items were pheonix blanks and some of the thred and tackle crafts items most had reduced or some cases free shipping
as for getting you have to register as far as i remember but there were fees not sure about any restrictions other than you had to be a business

had to call and ask one of the others we went with last time and he is only a rod builder when registered over the phone they listed him as a manufacturer also there were thousands of people there we only went two days and that was enough alot of walking and it a gaint building
