I have searched the web but cannot find any reviews for this lathe STEEL CITY 24-in x 50-in Mini Wood Lathe. I was thinking about getting one, i have a Smitty metal lathe but was looking at getting a new wood lathe. Bobby Stout Bloomburg, TX Re: Steel City Lathe

Steel City lathes are somewhat unique in that market due to their granite beds. In theory, this guarantees you a flat bed regardless of temperature, use, age, etc.
The rest of the lathe's mechanicals are very similar to other mini lathes from Jet, Delta, Rikon, etc. ................ Re: Steel City Lathe

24 X 50 doesn't seem like a "mini!" Re: Steel City Lathe
