rodmaker changes

always though rodmaker mag was slick. Heavy glossy paper, high quality and all that. Great info. Today my new issue arrived and instead of the extra cover it was packed fully in a heavy envelope. The cover is even heavier and slicker than before. All pages are high gloss. It was already great now another level has been reached. Just wanted to give props to another great issue and all the extra perks with it.

I've had several folks ask me about it. The cover is extremely heavy, even more so than before. My printer recently switched to a new UV coating vendor that will only coat the heaviest stock. It's heavier than what I would like, but there is no loss in quality - in fact it's better than ever. It also required an envelope for mailing rather than the previous false cover. Only downside is that it costs more to mail.

That's the exact truth! Apparently, my mailman likes to thumb through it as well. The changes are VERY welcome.

I like it! My issues are not just a collection but now are heirlooms to be passed down to the next generation of family rod builders. Tom, thanks for the extra effort.

The changes were sort of forced on me. But as long as they continue RodMaker's trend towards constant improvement, I can live with it.

I do not intend to raise the subscription price. It remains just $27.95 for 6 issues per year, delivered on time, every time.
