Aero Comfort reel seats

Just received some of the new size 17 Aero Comfort seats from American Tackle and they are awesome. They have always been my favorite seat but the size 16 was a little small. The new size 17 delineately fits the bill!

Mike - is the entire seat larger or just the front threaded part? If you know what I mean... Maybe a side by side pic? After all - you're retired ;)

Chuck,
Good question. I hope that the fit for the grip remains the same size, since that part of the reel seat is about perfect.

They're larger all the way around. Everyone was asking for a larger seat and larger is what they got.. Photo below.

Just for reference, the 980 sized graphite tubing fits perfectly in the rear cavity of the American Tackle Aero 17 seat.
