I know i should have checked first but i just placed an order with them. They are a sponsor here so i thought i would give them some business. Have any of you ordered from them before? They had some good deals on Lamiglas rod blanks so i ordered some along with some finish and such. I hope they had the blanks in stock as the order processed just fine. Any one have any info on Anglers?

Kevin:

I have been using Anglers Workshop since they were a Mom and Pop operation. Even back then all you had to do was call them. They would answer all of your questions, and take care of any problems. They have just gotten bigger and better over the years. I can't say enough good things about them. They have walked me through a number of builds over the years. They are working on their web site right now, and have many more items to add. You don't have any worries with your order.

Outstanding company. I do most of my business with them. They share a parking lot with Lamiglas and years ago were in the same building. So if you need lamiglas and they don't have it. They just walk across the lot to get it. They've called me when an item is out of stock. Request a catalog when you place your order. They have a lot more in the catalog than on the website. They've been working on that website for years and still don't have all their stock on it.

X9 Great people to do business with. I'm starting to shift most of my business to them. Get a catalog as they have items there that are not on their web site. I order by phone because all items are not on web site or in catalog.

I ordered a couple Lamiglas blanks from them too this week. Always heard good things about them on another board so I didn't hesitate. They have been great with keeping me updated on my order through email so far BTW.

I started my rod building craft buying from Anglers Workshop! They are a great bunch of folks over there and will help you with anything about rod building. You couldn't have picked a better place to do business with in my opinion. Have a great day !

Great to deal with, great communications which is very important when you order from overseas.
Been a great help with previous orders and a good catalogue.
Shipping costs are very reasonable to Australia, not like a few of the other suppliers.

If your lucky enough to be able to walk thru the door, they replace tip tops, custom cut aluminum rod tubes, inset fly grips, Make nice custom rod socks, and many other things in short order. All the time keeping the counter rolling.
Great family owned business.
