Pronouncing Matagi

How do you pronounce Matagi? Is it Ma-ta-guy, Ma-ta-gee or some other variation?

according to the pronunciation guide on the internet, it like "matangi" , but i heard it pronounced just like it is written. Have agood one!

I would say: MA-TA-GI. like MA-TA-GE, How ever you pronounce it, those that know what you mean will understand, Those who don`t know, don`t know the difference.
