Can someone tell me where I might be able to purchase this type of rod? A friend told me about these and he claims there the best for ice rods. I'm planning on building some panfish ice rods. Thank You for your help Re: Solid Carbon Graphite Blanks?

Hi Trickster, I am not sure what power rating or size of blank you want for the panfish rods but I get mine at Jann's Net Craft. This would be the panfish micro brand blank. They also have the proper sized tip top to fit these blanks. Some companies have the blanks but not the proper sized tip tops. This is the blank that is black and has a blaze orange painted tip. These are great blanks for watching the tip for bite detection. Or you can put a graphite Tennesse type handle on them and feel the bites through the handle (minus your mittens of course). Just an option to think about. Buzz Butters Ripon, WI Re: Solid Carbon Graphite Blanks?

Daiwa makes solid graphite blank/rods for black bass (largemouth). However I don't think they are what you are looking for in ice fihing rods. Chris Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
