Chad,
I feel I have learned almost as much by hanging out with other builders than at any of the seminars which have been excellant. The coffee and lunch area is a great opportunity to just pull up a chair and start talking. In the hotel lobby for hours after the show or before breakfast there is always some one talking rod building. I have never been kicked out or ignored with any group of guys yet. It`s AWSOME what you learn and how you get to meet some of the best of the best. So just make your self at home. Thanks for your service and hope you can make it in Feb. J P, I'm one who does not attend the Expo to purchase things (although I always do), I attend to learn more about our craft, and as you know only too well, I've learned an awful lot from you!
As for my purchases, it is usually things I cannot find elsewhere or is something new to me. Coming in from California makes it difficult to take back a lot of merchandise. Like others above the social part of connecting with friends like you and others that are names from this forum combined with the learning from the seminars, make it well worthwhile for me. Your creativity on display is always one of the Expo highlights for me! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
