customer wants a straight and a bent butt for standup work on his 37kg. short bent no problems, will the standard straight butt match with the harness setup or will the straps have to be altered each time. A short straight doesn't seem to be available for 80lb no4.? There must be a good reason why not.? I dont know this good reason does anyone.? lol

I haven't kept up with the current offerings in those butts. If the distance from the fisherman's point of effort (foregrip) will be changed by swapping the butts, then you'd almost certainly want to adjust the harness.

Owen,
The straps will have to be adjusted. On the butts, Stuart makes them in a #4 straight short and curved short. google stuartfishingtackle.com and you can see them there. Kevin Kevin Knox ANGLER'S ENVY CUSTOM RODS QUEEN ANNE, MD 21657 #_#_#_#_# www.anglersenvy.com Re: Storabutt Question

Hey Owen,
Are you sure you want to go with the #4 butts for standup? Even the 'short' models are considerably longer than the #2 equivalents, and I've heard a lot of talk about the #4's just being too big for standup. Have fitted 80W reels to both the Aftco and ATC #2's, and even though it's a very tight fit, they do lock into place just as well as a 50W. Much better option in my opinion.
