I have one spool (of course without label) of red metallic / black twist thread ... and three rods to wrap that the customer wants this thread on. Does anyone know of a source for this thread?

I would try Pro wrap I think they have that in their metallic twist line.

The red and black Electra was discontinued - no known substitute

The stuff is stunning and highly prized - I only use for inlays -

I found two 100 yard spools at a shop on Long Island two years ago - Billy Vivona may know the shop.

The owner of the shop read this forum at the time - he may contact you if he sees this thread and has more.

Hello Ken.

Gudebrod had(or has?) Gold/Black Red HT Braid #9000B.

Good Luck.

Tight Wraps.

Any chance you can twist your own? I saw some twists that Kevin did for a couple of his rods at the show this past year and they looked slick.
