Hi Gents,
When I get a container to store the stuff I'm going to have my first crack at using it. The question is anything that you can use to clean brushes or are they use once and chuck them. I see that xylene is in it and can that be used. All I've got is acetone and it probably not promising. Going to use it to cover a dyed cork handle (appologies to Steve Mcleod) to see how it turns out. Have read most of Tom's stuff on storing and using but any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Hi Col. I have an unopened bottle which I'm not game to open. I did notice that Bunnings stocks xylene if that helps you.

Thanks Paul and Ray,
Been using acetone for my finish brushes and don't have any U-40 brush cleaner, will have to get some from The Rodworks. ESFNEM Col Port Kembla, NSW Australia Re: Permagloss question

Hi Col,
Our company, Trondak, makes Perma Gloss. Acetone works great as a brush cleaner for Perma Gloss. Best Regards, Dan Metcalf dmetcalf@aquaseal.com Trondak, Inc. www.U-40.com Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
