For those of you interested in high speed photography and a little more info on the thinking and research behind Fuji's new KR CONCEPT, we have just posted a video on You Tube detailing the development of this fascinating new build philosophy. You can search "KR Concept from Anglers Resource" or click [youtube.be] We were saddled with the video provided and given only a very rough english translation. We have tried to do the best we could with what we had. We will have this video up on our web site as soon as possible. Re: KR story now on You Tube

Excellent video. Makes one wonder if the "choke" guide location is really all that significant.....compared to the size/location of the butt guide. Re: KR story now on You Tube

Hi Jim,
Good stuff, the improvements keep coming. For all us old farts that have been partial to overheads for casting this definitely shows why they're better. From the video looks like the biggest problem is the guide train slowing down line payout and it can't keep up with the lure or sinker weight. The problem is still there with an overhead but not nearly as dramatic as a spinning reel. Might be interesting to see what a small guide placed at the same height as the level wind would do and it could be put a lot closer than most of us do.
