Japanese Jigging Blanks

I am really getting upset with the pricing of "made in Japan " vertical jigging blanks these days. They are becoming really arrogant with their products and the pricing. Had a look around in the US based blank manufacturers and to my disappointment I see nearly no blanks fit for this kind of fishing. The Japanese ones are super slim, super powerful ,super slow in action and unfortunately super expensive. So the question is anybody knows of a good US made vertical Jigging blank???
Thanks

Try Mudhole's CVJ series. I've built two on the 6' 30-50# spinner blank, and I love them for grouper jigging. It weighs 4.9 oz., and it can handle some pretty big stuff (up to an 8' lemon shark!). $46 for the blank or $68 for the kit. This may sound cheap, but they are pretty awesome rods.

I just built a 8' musky rod out of the American Tackle "ATX" customer loves the action for stick baits and spinners.
