Went fishing last night for bass and some catfish, using the MHX rods that I had built, my buddy hauled in a 50lb snapper turtle, and a 12 pound channel, plus all the bass we caught during the first of the evening, the rods did a really good job holding up to them fish and that snapper, Just thought I out this in for a testimony on MHX rods. Tight lines everyone! I.m gonna try to put that catfish on the photot section, so be looking. Re: Thumbs up for MHX rod blanks!

Nice. Did you guys fillet the cat? I was thinking of building an MHX 9', 6wt. fly rod. Re: Thumbs up for MHX rod blanks!

No we had to let it go since it was like 11pm, did'nt feel like filleting the cat, That would be a really nice fly rod, I have'nt fly fished before but if I ever go back out west I will sure be building me one too!, Tight wraps! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
